NZ MODERN SCHOOL OF MUSIC MEASURES A PUPIL'S PROGRESS THROUGH THREE ELEMENTS, WHICH ALLOW PUPILS TO GAIN QUALIFICATIONS FOR THEIR MUSIC DEVELOPMENT WHILST ALSO PROVIDNG CONFIDENCE, MOTIVATION, AND DISCIPLINE. THESE ELEMENTS ARE SUPPORTED BY OUR NZMSM BOOK RANGE.
NEW ZEALAND MODERN SCHOOL OF MUSIC BOOK RANGE
NZ Modern School of Music has its own range of music books. We have approximately 40 books in our range across multiple instruments. Our books are sold through the music teachers. Some examples of our books are shown below.
THEORY EXAMS
We hold NZ Modern School of Music Theory Exams twice per year, in May and October.
PRACTICAL EXAMS
Our Practical Exams are held once per year in Aug
ANNUAL COMPETITION
The highlight of our annual calendar is our Annual Competition held in June. We have a range of classes to suit all levels of pupils to compete in, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placegetters winning our medals. Adjudicators can also award Commended and Highly Commended certificates,
There are a range of trophies that are won which are given out at the prizegiving at the end of the day. It is a major event with 5 halls running all day, covering Piano, Keyboard, Guitar and Singing.
These competitions are designed to reward small and large accomplishments in a safe, positive environment with loved ones supporting you.
