WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
NZ Modern School of Music offers music lessons nationwide for students aged 5 and up. With over 75 experienced and qualified teachers across Auckland, we provide lessons in schools and home studios, ensuring a high level of teaching that meets our standards. Our NZ Modern School curriculum includes our own range of music books, optional annual Practical and Theory exams, and an annual Auckland Competition which gives students the opportunity to perform, gain confidence, and achieve medals and awards. All of our teachers are Police vetted and meet our strict criteria to become a NZMSM teacher.

Sabrina is a gifted teacher who made lessons fun and engaging. She included all the skills right from the start including sight reading, rhythm, notation and ear training. Our son has made wonderful progress. Thank you Sabrina!
